Belzer PC was again included in the most recent list of Who Protects IP America. The annual survey published by IP Law & Business magazine identifies the primary intellectual property firms used by the Fortune 250. For the second year in a row, Belzer PC finds itself in good company on this list joining such powerhouse firms as Jones Day, Alston & Bird, and Baker Botts.
KATE DODSON STRAIN TO JOIN BELZER PC’S INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND TECHNOLOGY LAW PRACTICE
Belzer PC is pleased to announce that Kate Dodson Strain has joined the firm. Ms. Strain will focus her intellectual property law practice on trademark and copyright registrations. Ms. Strain has extensive experience providing corporate and individual clients with the requisite protection of their intellectual property. She has worked with numerous start-ups, not for profits, professional services firms, and entrepreneurs.
Additionally, she has worked on several lawsuits involving intellectual property disputes.
Ms. Strain recently helped a client protect its trademark from a competitor who used the client’s brand for similar purposes. Ms. Strain was able to persuade the competitor to change its name.
Ms. Strain graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude from the University of Georgia's Honors program. After teaching English for five years at Stratford Academy in Macon, she returned to law school at the University of Georgia and graduated Cum Laude.
